1. Information we collect

• Account information: name, email, phone number, and the account type you choose (Property Owner, Broker, or Buyer/Renter).
• Property listings: details, images, and location data you post.
• Messages & activity: chat messages, favorites, and visit requests.
• Technical data: IP address, device, browser, and approximate location for security and analytics.

2. How we use information

• Operate the marketplace and connect renters/buyers with owners and brokers.
• Verify accounts, process payments, and prevent fraud.
• Send transactional emails (sign-in, payment receipts, notifications).
• Improve the product and understand aggregate usage.

3. Google Sign-In

If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture. We use these only to create and manage your BetRent account. We do not sell this data.

4. Sharing

Owners and brokers see the contact information you provide when you message a listing. We do not sell personal information to third parties. Service providers (hosting, email delivery, analytics) process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.

5. Data retention & deletion

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. On deletion, your profile is removed; content you posted (listings, messages) may be retained where needed for the counterparties involved.
